I had already passed the test to make E5 but they wouldn't give it to me unless
I extended my service time and I declined the offer.
I am married and have four grown children.
My oldest son was also in the navy during the first gulf war.
I have 2 daughters and two sons. I have nine grandchildren.
I served aboard the Shakori from 1965-1966.
